REPRO LIGHT BOX is a device designed for non-contact reproduction of B / W and colour transparencies. It allows the reproduction of transparencies on film or plate in 4x5 "and smaller formats.
Modern digital cameras have the quality and flexibility to face all photographic fields and specializations, with this project we address the issue of reproduction and digitization of transparent negative and positive originals in black, white and colour. Unlike the scanners, which are often expensive and slow, this system is fast and flexible. It will also be economical without sacrificing quality.
Silvestri Repro Stand offers limited dimensions, absolute precision, micrometric adjustment of simple actuation, especially in the adjustment in the short distance; 1/1, ½ etc. the progressive control of the fire occurs at the same time facilitating the double operation.
The camera remains fixed in place without the need for locking. The Repro Stand has n. 4 adjustable feet for a perfect leveling of the plane, the column arm for a further adjustment for the possibility of perfectly leveling the repro camera.
In combination with the “4x5" light box” it allows the reproduction of originals up to 4x5 ”. With the "full frame 35mm" format and the 50mm lens it is possible to reproduce A4, 21x29.7cm. originals on the plane.
The high quality lighting is provided by high colour rendering CRI 95 LEDs, the Light Box has excellent heat dissipation, the light surface is not in contact with the film and this improves the image quality and reduces dirt and heat on the subject. With modern cameras or digital backs the reproduction becomes fast and of excellent quality. The Repro Light Box can be used in combination with a commercial stand or with its specific support, the Repro Stand code RE0005.
